However, protests are threatening the production of Tata's Nano car which are expected to roll out in October.
Perhaps that is why Jim Rogers is cold when it comes to investing in India. Rogers says that even though India has grown phenomenally like China, political and bureaucratic hurdles still remain. Rogers also commented that infrastructure in India was bad compared to China where truck drivers only drove at the speed of 20 kilometers because of bad roads.
Rogers was also upset with the Indian government decision to ban futures trading in some commodities.
