Tata Nano Finally Goes On Sale

The Tata Nano car finally goes on sale.

Tata's ultra cheap Nano car which retails for around $2000 plus tax and transport fee has gone on sale in India. Around 50,000 Nano cars have already been sold.

Tata's Nano website has also gotten 20 million hits in the last two weeks.

Looks like a large population in India will soon be switching from motorbikes to the Nano car.

Wonder whether this will cause a surge in the demand for petrol
