Suntec REIT - How Fast the Winds Change

Wasn't it not too long ago that shareholders were complaining about how depressed the prices of Suntec REIT's share price was?  Well, based on the recent run in its stock price, people who bought Suntec REIT earlier this year or last year are probably sitting on pretty neat profits.

DBS Group Research just recently maintained its Buy Call on Suntec REIT with a target price of S$1.61.  I don't believe I have ever seen Suntec REIT's price at that level before.  Some updates on this REIT:

• Sold off Chijmes
• Is currently carrying out is Asset Enhancement Initiative at Suntec City Mall.  
• Office rents hold steady at $8.71/psf/month despite weak market sentiments.
